Advanced Apprenticeship in Sports Development
Course Description
Chartstage Training and Development are offering an Advanced Apprenticeship in Sports Development. The scheme is mapped to Skills Active - National Occupational Standards in Sports development. Advanced Apprenticeships offer work based learning for young people to gain a nationally recognised qualification such as an NVQ and the chance to earn while they learn.

Course Requirements

  • Candidates must be aged 16-25
  • In employment, though not necessarily full time, and those seeking employment (providing they are carrying out some volunteering activities and part-time coaching - earning approximately £80 per week, including EMA)
  • A level 2 qualification

Funding
The Advanced Apprenticeships are funded up to the age of 25.

Delivery
This interactive training will be delivered over an 18 month period with candidates attending training 2-3 days each month with assessment visits from tutors at their workplace. All candidates will be loaned a laptop on commencement of the Advanced Apprenticeship and when they complete the scheme they will own it outright.
